CBN Isolate
Cannabinol
CBN Isolate (Cannabinol Isolate) is a highly refined minor cannabinoid. Cannabinol Isolate contains no other cannabinoids, waxes, terpenes, or plant material and is 99%+ pure CBN making it the most potent form of CBN available. CBN Isolate is a lipid-soluble, fine crystalline powder and works well in various product applications as a stand-alone cannabinoid or in concert with other cannabinoids.

Purity, Quality & Consistency
CBN Isolate is a purified and potent CBN extracted from U.S.-grown industrial hemp. We rigorously third-party test each batch of our wholesale CBN Isolate for purity and potency.
Our wholesale CBN Isolate is popular for product formulators looking for a highly pure CBN ingredient. In its isolated form, CBN offers the highest purity and batch-to-batch ingredient profile consistency without the presence of other cannabinoids, waxes, terpenes, or plant material found in full and broad-spectrum CBN distillate ingredients.
The purity of our bulk CBN Isolate makes it the most versatile way to achieve a high-potency CBN product because it is pure CBN and virtually colorless and flavorless. It is ideal for wholesale buyers who want a product that is refined and free from other cannabinoids and plant material.
If you are looking for superior quality, potent CBN ingredient that offers the highest level of consistency, CBN Isolate may be the right choice for you.

Is CBN Isolate the best type for your CBN-infused product?
As a minor cannabinoid, CBN naturally occurs in very small amounts in standard Full Spectrum CBD Distillate and Broad Spectrum CBD Distillate. However, as an isolated molecule, CBN can be used in a product formula as a stand-alone cannabinoid or as a booster to increase the naturally occurring trace levels of CBN found in CBD distillates.
The best way to incorporate CBN into your next product formula depends on many factors. Book a call with our technical team of CBN product developers to discuss your project. We’re happy to discuss the benefits and functionality of CBN Isolate so you have the best fit for your product’s goals.

Each differs in its chemical profiles, CBN potency, and purity. CBN Isolate (cannabinol), Full Spectrum CBD (cannabidiol), and Broad Spectrum CBD (cannabidiol) all have different concentrations of the minor cannabinoid CBN.
CBN is one of many minor cannabinoid molecules found in trace amounts as part of full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD distillate extractions. The clearest difference is that CBN Isolate is only concentrated CBN with a purity level of over 99%+ of the total weight/weight ingredient. While CBN appears in full-spectrum and broad-spectrum CBD extracts, it’s still considered minor or “rare,” appearing at best in less than 5% of the total full and broad-spectrum CBD liquid volume.
All variations of CBN, as an isolate or part of a full or broad-spectrum CBD extract, are alike in that they are lipid-soluble.
Like all other cannabinoid isolates, CBN Isolate is the final output in the refinement process of the cannabinoid extraction from the hemp plant. During the refinement process, we remove all traces of other cannabinoids, terpenes, waxes, and plant material. We ensure the removal of all THC, making this a THC-free ingredient. The isolated CBN molecule is the only remaining cannabinoid in CBN Isolate. This process makes CBN Isolate the purest single-molecule form of CBN. It is a crystalline powder and is virtually colorless and odorless.
Broad Spectrum CBD is one step away from the final CBN Isolate purification process. It is a light, clear amber color CBD oil that retains other parts of the plant extract besides THC, including waxes, terpenes, and plant material. While traces of minor cannabinoids like CBN, CBG, and CBC remain in a Broad Spectrum CBD oil, we intentionally remove THC during the purification process resulting in a THC-Free Broad Spectrum CBD oil. While CBN remains in the Broad Spectrum CBD Distillate oil after purifying it, it’s still considered a minor aspect of the overall extraction. The oil has a notable herbaceous scent and amber color due to the terpene and plant properties still present in the final extract.
Full Spectrum CBD contains all of the cannabinoids (including CBN and THC) found in the hemp plant and is, therefore, ideal for those who want the full benefits of the hemp plant. It is the first in the CBD oil clarification and purification process after the original CBD crude work-in-progress material has been extracted from the hemp biomass. As with Broad Spectrum CBD, CBN is part of this full extraction in very small amounts. Like Broad Spectrum CBD, the oil has a notable herbaceous scent and amber color due to the terpene and plant properties still present in the oil. The 0.3% THC levels are at non-psychoactive levels and meet all legal requirements in the US for industrial hemp-extracted CBN.
If you want to develop a high CBN-only product or ratio CBD:CBN ratio product, we highly recommend working with CBN Isolate to customize the precise CBN percentage concentration in your formula.
-
Yes, you can blend CBN Isolate with other cannabinoids. Formulators often use CBN Isolate as a stand-alone cannabinoid in a formula or as a booster to a Full Spectrum CBD or Broad Spectrum CBD ingredient. Product developers also take an “ensemble” approach to formulating with various isolate cannabinoids to create precise cannabinoid ratios and effects.

CBN Isolate is a popular choice for many brands, formulators, and manufacturers due to its versatility. CBN Isolate can be used in a wide variety of products, including edibles, topicals, cosmetics, tinctures, beverages, soft gels, transdermal patches, and more. It is also relatively easy to work with, making it a great option for those new to the world of CBN.
-
If you want to add CBN Isolate to your product line, you'll need to know how to use it. CBN Isolate is a highly concentrated crystalline powder form of CBN. Proper heating and order of addition are important to adhere to in order to retain the efficacy and stability of the CBN Isolate.
CBN Isolate is lipid-soluble and can be added to a wide variety of products, including lotions, serums, and even edibles. When adding CBN Isolate to your formulations, be sure to add it to the oil phase of your ingredients. This will ensure that it is properly dispersed and doesn't clump together or remain gritty in your final product.
