CBG Crude Oil is the starting CBG extract for all other forms of CBG. It’s a dark viscous CBG extract oil with an intense herbaceous scent that comes from the first level of refinement of industrial hemp plant material. It is considered relatively unfiltered and still contains most of the chlorophyll, waxes, fats, terpenes, and lipids found in the hemp plant.

CBG Crude Oil is a “work in progress” raw material due to its unfiltered qualities. It requires additional rounds of filtering to refine it into light golden color distillate or crystalline isolate for use in consumer goods formulas.

All of the variations of CBG are alike in that they are lipid-soluble. Each differs in chemical profiles, CBG potency, purity, and applicable uses.
CBG Crude Oil is the starting point for all other CBG extracts and isolates. It’s considered a ‘work-in-progress’ industrial raw ingredient and not prepared or sufficiently refined for direct use in CPG formulas or for public consumption. CBG processors start with CBG Crude Oil when making their CBG distillates and isolate.
CBG Isolate is the final output in the refinement process of the cannabinoid extraction from the hemp plant. During the refinement process, we remove all traces of other cannabinoids, terpenes, waxes, and plant material. We ensure the removal of all THC, making this a THC-free ingredient. The isolated CBG molecule is the only remaining molecule in CBG Isolate. This process makes CBG Isolate the purest single-molecule form of CBG. It is a crystalline powder and is virtually colorless and odorless.
Our Full Spectrum CBG is one step away from the final CBG Isolate purification process. It is a light, clear amber color CBG oil that retains other parts of the plant extract besides CBG, including waxes, terpenes, and plant material. While traces of minor cannabinoids like CBG, CBN, and CBC remain in a Full Spectrum CBG oil. Unlike Broad Spectrum Oil which is THC-Free, Full Spectrum Oil is just that “full” which means it contains the entire range of minor cannabinoids, including trace amounts of THC, within the 0.3% legal limit.
It’s ideal for those who want the full benefits of the hemp plant. It is the first in the CBG oil clarification, and purification process after the original CBG Crude Oil work-in-progress material has been extracted from the hemp biomass.
Broad Spectrum CBG is a refined oil with an herbaceous scent and amber color due to the terpene and plant properties still present in the oil. It retains the majority of the cannabinoids found in the Full extract but does not contain any of THC still present in 0.3% legal limit trace amounts.
